momof2 said...: Ours started when my ds was four and dd was 2yrs we (mommy and kids) sarted going to Coldstone Creamery for lunch (yep, ice cream for lunch) on Valentine's Day. Just a special thing we do on that day (not on anyother day they are expensive!) This year daddy gets to go too since Valentine's Day is on Saturday!

Just wanted to say that we have helped focus on God's definition of love by creating 'love rocks'. I just took ordinary rocks and painted on one quality of love from I Cor 13. I made 14 of them so we pick one rock a day from Feb 1-14 and talk about how we can show that aspect of love. We have our rocks in a heart shaped tin. The kids enjoy being the one to pick it out each day.
