Lauren

Lauren is the daughter of our first daughter, Kate. She just celebrated her 1st birthday, and we all enjoyed a "puppy party" to celebrate with her- complete with chocolate sugar cookies shaped like dog bones. Lauren has red hair and blue eyes and she has just begun to walk and is doing a lot of exploring around the house! She is the youngest grandchild right now, so she has her work cut out for her to keep up with the older ones, but she does her best!
Here's some fun trivia about Lauren:

Favorite Food: Bananas; Cheerios

Favorite Toy: Ride-on Step 2 Car

What makes her cry: When Daddy says "NO"! = )

How many teeth: 8!

Favorite Activities: Dancing and Singing, Getting the mail with Mom or Dad

Favorite Books: The Christmas Story, My World, The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Favorite Music: Hide 'Em in Your Heart, Classical Waltz CD

Lauren is a joy to our family. She is full of smiles and energy! She's a very special little lady!

I have an adorable red-haired, blue-eyed darling myself. She's 8, and I have to tell you. Redheads are a breed of their own. :)

Ah, I always wanted a redhead. You'd think after six I'd have at least one, being a redhead myself. I hope Lauren develops freckles and all those other wonderful things unique to redheads! Happy birthday, Lauren, you have been born into an amazing family! --Peggy
